Color and Season Change

Traditionally Columbus Day marks the end of summer in the Northeast. Beach towels are washed and stowed away along with beach chairs and flip-flops. Like clockwork, the sky changes,  the leaves change color and temperatures fall. Not this year!

If you’ve been waiting for a crisp day to enjoy your pumpkin spice latte or take the kids apple picking you have had to be patient. Instead, we have been blessed with warm sunshine and blue sky‘s. However, we can enjoy the feel of fall by simply changing the colors we wear. Color changes our mood. Replace the orange and hot pink in your wardrobe with persimmon, the turquoise and sky blue with navy and yellow with warm beige and chocolate brown. Have a favorite color you simply can’t live without? Accessorize with it to keep you smiling.

Surely, The leaves will change and grace us with a warm tapestry of color that you can reflect as you accessorize your own home for fall  New placemats, an autumn wreath or a collection of chestnuts and pumpkins will give you all you need before dressing our homes up for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Nature is falling into fall slowly this year. Let’s enjoy it!!
